Porsche Carrera Cup GB racer

About Will Aspin

Will Aspin is a talented young driver from Florence, Italy. He started his racing career at the age of 11, in go-karts at Castle Combe and aged 14, turned his focus to the Ginetta Junior Championship, getting his first taste of the car in 2019, making guest entries mid-way through the season. Quick to impress and taking some strong results in his first race weekend, Will took part in the Ginetta Junior Winter series, gaining some great results in preparation for 2020.

Throughout that season Will earned seven top-ten finishes and, with a successful third-place finish in the Ginetta GT5 Championship in 2021, he joined Team Parker Racing for his maiden season in the ever-competitive Porsche Carrera Cup GB, securing his first Pro-Am victory at Brands Hatch. In 2023, Will took part in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Southern Europe and returned to the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, as well as making his debut in the international Porsche Supercup at the British Grand Prix.

For 2024 Will has joined Eden Race Drive in the Porsche Carrera Cup GB, hoping to secure the Pro-Am championship title…

Porsche Carrera Cup GB

The Porsche Carrera Cup GB is the fastest single-marque GT series in the UK and wows fans week after week racing alongside the British Touring Car Championship across the nation.

With identical Porsche 911 GT3 Cup (992) cars, driver skill comes to the fore, meaning only the very best earn their place on the podium, with drivers competing in one of three categories – Pro, Pro-Am, and Am – based on their pace and experience. A total of £350,000 in prize money is on offer across the season, with driver champions from each class also winning the use of a Porsche for one year.

A clear step on the Porsche motorsport pyramid, previous competitors and champions have not only gone on to success in the international Porsche Supercup, but also now compete in the BTCC, FIA World Endurance Championship, and in the case of Nicolas Latifi, in the Formula 1 World Championship.
